DMC Lean worked with a large processing facility to improve OEE by 5% within existing headcount model. After Value Stream Mapping the process DMC Lean consultants along with stakeholders from the organization identified the “top-hitters” within the value chain that were causing the downtime. Projects teams were enabled using the DMAIC principles to identify the root cause of these inefficiencies and design counterbalances to improve productivity.
